Flat Pack Storage Container was urgently contacted by one of Turkey's leading NGOs to supply 50 flat pack container homes for victims of the devastating earthquake that recently struck the country. Recognizing the critical need for swift assistance, Flat Pack Storage Container undertook the challenge and manufactured these units within a record time of just one week. Each container was delivered fully equipped and ready for immediate use, featuring windows, doors, complete electrical and plumbing systems, kitchen cabinets, and insulation.
The flat pack containers, measuring 300x700 cm, were designed with built-in toilets, showers, and kitchen cabinets, ensuring they provide essential living facilities for displaced individuals. Constructed from light steel galvanized profiles, the flat pack containers were engineered without welding to enhance corrosion resistance and durability, making them capable of withstanding extreme weather conditions.
Upon completion, the containers were delivered to the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) warehouses. AFAD then facilitated their distribution to Hatay province in eastern Turkey, where they have been instrumental in providing immediate and effective shelter for those affected by the disaster. This rapid response and meticulous production reflect Flat Pack Storage Container's commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable solutions in times of crisis.
